This Transport Agreement outlines the terms under which First Pet Travels agrees to coordinate and provide pet transportation services. By booking or using our services, the customer agrees to the terms below.


1. Agreement to Transport

First Pet Travels agrees to arrange transportation services for pets based on the information provided by the customer. Transportation may be carried out by First Pet Travels or through approved third-party carriers or airline partners.

All transportation arrangements are subject to:

  • Availability

  • Weather conditions

  • Airline or carrier regulations

  • Documentation and health requirements


2. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the pet and shipment.

  • Ensure the pet is healthy and fit for travel.

  • Provide all required documents, including:

    • Vaccination records

    • Health certificates

    • Identification and permits where required

  • Ensure the pet is properly prepared for travel, including crate and comfort requirements.

Failure to provide accurate information or documentation may result in delays or cancellation.


3. Health and Safety Requirements

For the safety of all animals, pets must:

  • Be free from contagious illness

  • Meet vaccination requirements

  • Be of appropriate age and health condition for travel

First Pet Travels reserves the right to refuse or delay transport if a pet is deemed unfit for travel.


4. Transportation Conditions

Transportation schedules are estimates and may be affected by:

  • Airline or carrier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Regulatory inspections

  • Documentation processing

First Pet Travels will make reasonable efforts to provide updates and keep customers informed of any changes.


5. Crates and Travel Equipment

Customers must ensure that:

  • Pets travel in airline-approved crates where applicable

  • Crates are properly ventilated and secure

  • Adequate food and water arrangements are provided when required

If a crate does not meet safety standards, shipment may be delayed until corrected.


6. Tracking and Updates

Tracking information is provided for customer convenience.
Status updates may include:

  • Booking confirmation

  • Requirements review

  • Departure and transit updates

  • Arrival scheduling

Tracking information reflects operational updates and may not always represent real-time movement.


7. Delivery and Handover

At delivery:

  • The receiver may be required to present identification.

  • Delivery may be delayed if the receiver is unavailable or documentation is incomplete.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the receiver is available at the scheduled time.


8. Delays and Unforeseen Events

First Pet Travels is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Airline or transportation disruptions

  • Government or regulatory requirements

  • Events beyond reasonable control (force majeure)

We will make reasonable efforts to minimize delays and provide updates.


9. Limitation of Liability

First Pet Travels shall not be liable for:

  • Delays beyond our control

  • Actions of third-party carriers or airlines

  • Documentation or regulatory issues caused by incorrect customer information

Liability, where applicable, is limited to the amount paid for transportation services.


10. Communication

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information

  • Respond promptly to communications

  • Monitor tracking updates and notifications

Failure to respond may delay shipment processing.


11. Cancellation and Changes

Transportation arrangements may be modified or canceled if:

  • Required documents are not provided

  • Health requirements are not met

  • Payment or booking requirements are incomplete

Customers should contact support as soon as possible to request any changes.


12. Third-Party Transportation Providers

First Pet Travels may coordinate transportation through third-party providers.
While we select reputable partners, we are not responsible for delays or issues arising from third-party operations.


13. Acceptance of Agreement

By booking or using our services, the customer confirms that:

  • All information provided is accurate

  • The pet meets travel requirements

  • The customer agrees to these transport terms
